This is disturbing; apparently the RINO wing of the GOP now wants to grant amnesty to millions of illegals just as we finally have the funding and the tools to stop the invasion of our country. And with a "pathway to citizenship" the GOP will again become a minority party, and forever.
We've seen how amnesties have treated us in the past. Ronald Reagan listened to his party and amnetized three million aliens, almost all of whom immediately became Democrats.
Here'sThe how it teated Republicans:
This was the same year the amnesty took affect.
And the GOP lost seats in the House and Senate in '88 and again in '92. The slide was only reversed after the failed Hillarycare attempt frightened the public into electing Newt Gingrich and the "Contract with America" which promised a good game but fell woefully short.
The frightening aspect of this is that Donald Trump appears ready to do this.
Trump is quoted in the article (which I do not excerpt as Redstate does not permit that, at least not with my antiquated system) as saying he doesn't think long-term illegals should be kicked out and he spoke of the need for keeping cheap labor in the country to do gardening and hotel staffing and whatnot. That means he's thinking of amnetizing at least a portion of the illegals. That is unacceptable and a betrayal of the American People, who will turn on him. If Trump does this, if the GOP does this, it will spell the end of MAGA and the Republican Party.
I cannot fathom how tone-deaf the GOP has become - and even Mr. Trump.
Following the report by Charlie Kirk, a number of Republicans (including Eric Schmidt, my own Senator) have come out strongly against any sort of amnesty. They are right.
BTW Mr. Trump has actually deported FEWER illegals than Barack Insane Obama (pee, er, peace be upon him) and Trump is on pace to deport FEWER aliens than Joe (no borders) Biden during his last year in office. That is disturbing. Of course he's been hamstrung by endless court rulings which have pretty much slowed the extraction. And many have self-deported, saving us the trouble, but it is a bit worrisome. I have no doubt Mr. Trump employs more than just a few illegals in his hotel business and at his golf courses.
il·le·gal /i(l)ˈlēɡ(ə)l,əˈlēɡ(ə)l/
adjective
contrary to or forbidden by law, especially criminal law.
Any questions? It doesn't matter how long they've been in the country. They need to leave and actually apply for residency like most of our ancestors did. Case closed.

What part of the Supreme Court's ruling against nationwide injunctions don't the leftist judges understand?
Federal Judge Blocks Planned Parenthood Defunding in Big, Beautiful Bill
From Just the News:
U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee, issued the temporary restraining order
The ruling comes in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling that dramatically limited the scope of nationwide injunctions by lower court judges and is sure to lead to a legal fight with the administration.
"The true design of the Defund Provision is simply to express disapproval of, attack, and punish Planned Parenthood, which plays a particularly prominent role in the public debate over abortion,” Planned Parenthood argued in its suit, per Reuters. The case in the U.S. District Court for Massachusetts.
See what they are doing? They know they are going to be rebuked by SCOTUS but they don't care; they want to waste time, tie up the Administration, and snipe at them from the shadows. As SCOTUS has no actual authority over lower courts (just authority over their decisions) they cannot enforce their own ruling about sweeping injunctions. What we are seeing is an insurrecftion by lower courts.
So, let me get this straight - this judge says Congess is expressing "disapproval of, attacking, and punishing" Planned Parenthood and somehow that is wrong. Well, how are they doing it? Simply by cutting off taxpayer dollars to the pro-abortion organization. I ask you, would it somehow be acceptable for Congress to fund, say, the Ku Klux Klan? No? Then why are they legally obligated to fund Planned Parenthood. In fact why are they legally obligated to use taxpaer dollars to fund ANYTHING? Where in the Constitution does it say Congress must use taxpayer money to fund private organizations?
And of course to issue such an injunction this judge MUST appeal to Constitutionality. He has no leg to stand on otherwise as this is a law, duly and properly passed by Congress. His only option in stopping it is to declare it unconstitutional.
So,where in the Constitution is the authorization for this? I can't find it in my copy. It's not listed in the enumerated powers.
And animus towards an organization is not within the scope of this judge's authority. She is supposed to rule on the law, not on feelings or fairness-and especially not on assumed emotions. You might think a person who has their house foreclosed on is getting a raw deal and they might be but if the protocols set forth by the law are followed the judge is obligated to rule for the lender. How is this any different?
Judges are supposed to follow the law, not their own whims.
Sadly there is no mechanism short of impeachment or dissolving the court that allows for the removal of such a judge. There should be, and SCOTUS should be able to file a writ against any judge who openly disobeys their rulings. But that provision is not there so these creeps can keep pulling this and face no disciplinary actions.
Well, there are other ways to discipline besides removal. I would suggest the House and Senate judiciary committees call this judge before them and rack her over the coals. Lay a perjory trap for her. Send the IRS to investigate her business dealings. Look into her political contacts. Make life miserable for this Puta.
Until there are real consequences for this kind of lawless behavior it will keep happening. Congress needs to address this.

Democrats are now openly calling for insurrection as they told Axios their constituents want them to "resist" up to and including violently and face getting shot.
Violence in the service of politics is terrorism, and inciting violence in groups is insurrection.
Democrats say these mysterious voters who are demanding insurrection are usually "white and wealthy". (That means they know who they are and that the Democratic party is now the party of the rich.)
FTA:
Who pray tell? It is their duty to divulge these terrorism advocates.
Also, how much of this is their constituency and how much is what they themselves want?
The Constitution guarantees the right of free speech and of assembly, provided both are peaceful. This is not free speech - it's a call to insurrection.
Mike Johnson should supeona these Democrats and demand names and dates UNDER OATH. If they won't cooperate cite them with contept of Congress. You can't have legislators going around inciting violence.
According to the article the Democrats are being pressured by their voters, who are suffering from anger and despair at the Democrats not doing enough "puts us in a different position where … we can’t keep following norms of decorum.”. Of course the party knows that they will lose the majority of Americans if they walk down this route; they've been there before and lost. Oh, and there is a big difference between calling for violence and "the rules of decorum".
Basically these are crybabies who aren't used to losing and now are going to throw their weight around in anger. They thought America was just one Presidency away from becoming the Soviet republic they so long have dreamed about, and it's slipped through their fingers. But it's not Trump they are raging against but the American People themselves. American didn't want what they were selling.
So, like your typical spoiled brat, they are now throwing a temper tantrum.
Since when have the Democrats EVER "played the Republicans game"? They used the dirtiest, most evil tactics to take out Mr. Trump over the last eight years; they can't devise any more creative or dishonest ways of gaming the system. Lawfare. Outright lies by the media. Attacking his people. Rioting in multiple cities. Opening the border to steal the election. You name it they've tried it. Now, with none of these efforts bearing fruit, they are going to the final option - revolution.
It was entirely predictable.
One anonymous House Democrat told Axios that constituents have said that "civility isn’t working” and told them they need to be prepared for "violence … to fight to protect our democracy.
"Protect our democracy" or their own power? Who is it who is actually following the laws of the land? Mr. Biden engaged in an insurrection when he opened the borders in violation of our own laws. The Democrats engaged in insurrection when they framed President Trump. Everything they've done for the last twenty years has been a violation of our laws and of our democratic process. Me think they doth protest too much.
That's right; they've ratcheted up the hateful rhetoric, painting Trump as a monster who made Hitler look like a piker. You can't paint someone as worse than Hitler and not expect the unhinged to turn violent.
We need to find out who these people are and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.
I've long been a student of revolutions and this is how revolutions are made. One side simply refuses to accept they've lost and rejects the basic rules of conduct. That's what we are seeing now. The Democrats are not a political party but increasingly a revolutionary council.

Germany is preparing to buy 1,000 tanks and 2500 armored vehicles to counter Russian forces in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
This is a major provocation and the Russians, already fearful of Western invasion, could well strike at Germany to pre-empt this military buildup. Of all countries the Russians hate and fear Germany the most and will not tolerate German forces threatening them. Their animosity goes all the way back to the Battle on the Ice, when Teutonic Knights invaded Russia when the Russians had sent out a call for aid against the Mongols. Germans have repeatedly invaded Russia over the centuries, and a thousand tanks suggests to them another invasion may be coming. In fact they may well believe the Ukrainian war was a ruse to soften the Russian forces.
I don't believe that but it doesn't matter what I believe; the Russians think this way.
None of tis would be happening had Joe Biden not wanted this Ukraine war.

Here is an interesting story; Mexico builta bunch of refugee shelters along the border and they are almost entirely empty, despite the massive deportations from the Trump Administration.
What I find interesting about this story is what is left unsaid; Mexico built these shelters along the border. Why? They thought Trump would do what everyone always has, put these people just over the border. And Mexico wanted to provide them with a comfortable place to wait a bit, a staging ground for a re-entry into the United States.
In other words these camps were nothing but sanctuaries for an invasive enemy.
The article states:
But those moves have dried up the pool of recently arrived, easy-to-deport migrants. For Trump to meet his goal of deporting 1 million migrants in his first year, he is turning to the more complex search for people who have lived in the United States without permission for years.
So just enforcing the law ended the mass caravans and whatnot. Isn't that precisely what we wanted?
And the article acts as if this is a bad thing. It also suggests the people in the interior "have been here for years". If by years you mean they came at some point in the Biden Administration I would agree. But they are suggesting these are long-term residents who are being hunted and thrown out. That is a subtle lie.
Of course this is the Washington Post. And they simultaneously cheerlead the defense of illegals, working to stop deportations, while at the same time are accusing Trump of failure for not kicking them out faster. The hypocrisy is astounding (but did we expect anything else?)
The reality is a lot of illegals are self-deporting BACK TO THEIR HOMETOWNS and not to border shelters. (They were never in any danger back at home and everyone except maybe MSNBC and CNN viewers already knew). We don't WANT them clustered at the border; they will just try to come in again. Trump showed it was easy to control the border and always has been. Despite Biden's claim to need "comprehensive reform" and that he had no power over matters, Mr. Trump has shown it's just a matter of wanting to do it.
The article continues:
As if that is a bad thing. Biden flew these people all over America so they couldn't be apprehended and sent back. But they need to be sent back. We did not give them permission to be here and just because they want to work for cheap that is no reason to excuse their presence. Would you let a Guatemalan family just break into your detached garage and set up housekeeping? If your answer is no why do you support letting them break into our collective house?
The WaPo says every one of these illegals has a right to a hearing. Balderdash! In past times the hearing was when they were apprehended. All WaPo wants is to buy time in the hopes the Democrats take the House and Senate in the next election and reverse everything Mr. Trump has accomplished. They want to remake America into Unidas Estatcia de America.
They are traitors to kin and country. If Dante's vision is correct they will wind up in Antenora, the place for traitors to kin and country.
But then so many in the political class belong there.

Here is an essay about the entertainment industry's eternal love affair with the 1990's that is worth a read.
As the author points out, most decades get their tribute at some point. In the '70's we had American Graffiti and Happy Days and other tributes to the '50's. In the eighties there was a lot of reminiscing about the sixties, and so forth and so on. It usually comes after twenty years.
But Hollywood and the rest seem stuck in this nineties mode, unwilling to move on.
The author of this piece gets part of it correct:
So when Gen Y aged up and hit their prime spending years, the powers that be tried the same trick. They gave us 2D throwback games, brought back Crystal Pepsi, and released the Sega Genesis Mini. It worked, for a while.
But then they realized something terrifying.
There is nothing to mine after 1997.
And in fact the author hit on one of the reasons WHY there was nothing after the nineties:
But not in the poetic sense. Current Year entertainment doesn’t enshrine cultural touchstones like a Homeric poem. It’s more like a corporate memo dug out of a filing cabinet marked "Boomer Monetization Playbook: 1987.”
I would say it MORALIZES rather than memorializes. There is nothing memorable because, in part, everything was politicized, turned to the service of political correctness. A scold is not memory-worthy.
Political correctness is an old idea, one stemming from the Bolshevik Revolution. It made no headway in the West until it was adopted by an increasingly leftist academia in the '80's, and it metastasized in the '90's. By the end of that decade it was sitting on the throne in all major entertainment fields, and with it the censorship of speech made it impossible to actually SAY anything, anything of interest or humor, anyway. Everything was scrubbed, sanitized, and homogenized. (On the network Laff when they put on movies made before 2000 they put up a disclaimer "some may find the views wildly offensive" - at least they are putting those movies on, but they often bleep out language that was fine at the time because it's not considered appropriate now.) Nothing since has had any spice. It's all baby food.
So there is nothing to remember about anything since the Clinton era.
The article continues:
But that's not all. There was the arrival of the internet during the late '90's, and computer gaming and other computer entertainment. This shattered the unity of culture we used to all participate in, and now with podcasts and the like there just isn't any one culture anymore.
Now the young don't DO anything; they spend their whole lives surfing the web and texting. You simply can't make any sort of television show, or movie, that appeals to the modern youths anymore. They have become one with the machine, and they are acting more and more like machines. They don't want driver's licenses, they don't want jobs, they don't want in-class schooling. They just want their machines. They have become slaves to the technocrats.
How do you, say, write a sitcom that would appeal to such? It's impossible. And with political correctness sanitizing everything there just isn't anything to catch the interest of the youth of today.
Jerry Seinfeld stopped doing gigs at colleges; he couldn't tell any jokes without offending people. Nobody has a sense of humor anymore because they have been dilligently taught to be offended at everything.
This has been going on since the turn of the century, I might add.
We have a culture that is sick with ennui and boredom. The young can't find anything in life that interests them. They don't do anything, they don't really even think anything. They just stumble about in a fog.
So since the turn of the century culture has melted away. yes, the television culture always was a BAD culture but at least it existed, even if it was destructive. Now there is nothing, a bland paste.
The author comes close with this:
He's right; kids by and large aren't going to relive the days of cheesy video games or old technology. Some have tried, and in fact that brought the vinyl record back. The young who drink (ew do these days, to their detriment s they don't experience even the crazy times of adolescent boozing) have returned to "heirloom beer" like Schlitz or Pabst or Stagg (shudder!) But this is a nostalgia movement that goes to a time BEFORE their era, not to their era. Their era is dry white toast and they know it. Why bring back old computer technology when the new stuff is so much better?
He really gets it here:
Does that mean all cultural product before 1997 was good? No, but for the most part, it was still alive.
Does that mean all cultural product after 1997 is bad? No, but when it’s good, it’s usually by accident.
I've said this myself; all those who make movies or television programs can do these days is remake old hits, or do new takes on comic book superheroes. How many Batmen movies are there? Spider man? Superman? The screen writers keep rehashing this because they have nothing else to say. We live in a silent generation.
And since the great books and legends of our past are being purposely erased by the Left the writers and producers are afraid to touch THOSE. They are forced to turn to the lowest form of literature, the comic book and pulp fiction.
I would argue too that that was intentional by the Left. They had hoped to melt our culture away and replace it with a radical new one, one that emphasized political action and radical thinking. It has worked to a degree, but the destruction of the old culture has led to a world of young people who have simply tuned out all culture, and try to create their own online. They have decided to drop out of reality.
And that was a logical decision; reality became very painful under the last fifty years, especially since the sexual revolution. How many young people were from broken families? Started having sex too soon in no small part because the culture was telling them to do so? They became satiated with the culture being given them, and life was hard and painful, and unless a young person was going to do something very rash (like shoot up a school) they had no other option but to retreat into a dream world and try to ignore the very painful reality they faced.
It's part of why we see so much of this LGBTQ stuff; young people desperately seeking something to ease their pain. They don't understand their pain, just know it's real and think "maybe this will fix things".
The essay continues:
By the early aughts, most mainstream entertainment wasn’t crafted—it was workshopped by a committee of Pop Cult high priests.
That’s why there is no 2000s nostalgia movement.
Yep; nailed it there. After 2000 everything stopped being written by creative people and became mass-produced, cheap commercialism.
I would argue that's why country music became so big; it was still personal and genuine. But it was about the only thing. Rap had that blessing too early on but by 2000 had become nothing but a corporate anthem.
Another thing to look at is Globalism. Globalism meant corporations wanted to appeal to all nations, not just America, and so they systematically purged America, and in fact anything remotely Western, from their products. Everything had to become blandly international. And of course the Chinese funded most movies and had no love for America so they insisted all films be sanitized, Oh, and many are made in Canada, which has always been a bland, sanitized place thanks to their blend of Anglo and Franco cultures.
The whys of it probably don't matter all that much. The fact remains that any culture that loses it's creativity, it's uniqueness, it's sense of meaning, is one doomed to destruction. America's dying film and television industry is a very, very bad sign; it is indicative of a nation that has lost faith in it's own institutions, it's own culture and traditions. And it's lost what little creativity existed in Hollywood and the rest of the entertainment industry.
I suspect in twenty years (assuming things continue as they are now) we'll see a revival of the '20's' era as the Trump era has real personality, and we are actually talking again, and things matter again. I think the youths of today will indeed remember this era fondly. It's been a long, long time since we had anything but bland internationalism and speech codes.
But then, if the Trump era ends prematurely we see our culture fail completely. That would be a dirty shame.
Suffice it to say our culture is ossified and calcified, stuck in amber, however you want to say it. Nations in times past that had such ossification died. Look at the antebellum South. Look at Rome. Sclerosis usually leads to death.

The Democrats deny there are illegal aliens receiving Medicaid, and are so convinced of that they are suing to prevent the government from releasing proof that aliens are indeed getting medicaid.
The truly astounding thing is the irony is probably lost on them.
Of course it's not really; they hope to get a judgment from a pet judge who stops the release of this information precisely because it destroys their narrative. And if someone challenges them they will falsely claim a court declared there was no fraud. Cute trick.
The sunshine law shouold trump any legal maneuvers here, but of course when liberal circuit judges are at work the normal rules don't apply.
No doubt the lawyers for the Democrats will argue this is a matter of privacy, that the names of the recipients will be made public and that will hurt them. But they are illegals; their names do not deserve protection in the first place. If they didn't want to be exposed they should have followed the procedures to come here legally. Instead they skippedthe line because they knew they wouldn't qualify.
Until we start thinking about illegal aliens as criminals we will have this sort of behavior on the part of Democrats. America must come to the realization that illegal immigration is not a victimless crime. We ALL pay for them. And they flipped us the bird. And they steal our social benefits and jobs, just as these guys are stealing medicaid from old grandmothers.

Trump’s DOJ Reportedly Quietly Looking Into Criminal Charges Against Election Officials
This should have been at the top of her priority list.
That's why the GOP never seems to gain any traction; they've turned a blind eye to fraud for decades and the Democrats have built a fraud machine across the country. I wonder how many elections they've stolen, how many House and Senate seats? Governorships? Frankly, I am of the opinion the Democrats would be in a permanent minority if it were not for the fraud that happens year after year. Nobody ever gets punished, or at least not much.
Bondi should have been ont top of this in February.
And even if they are going to lose in a prosecution they can still move forward, forcing the guilty parties to hire attorneys and sweat it out. That's how the Democrats do it to us.

To be a successful leftist you must redefine and reshape reality. Reality is your enemy. So those on the left are forever changing the meaning of words, suppressing stories and images, finding disingenuous arguements, to twist reality into a shape that is beneficial to their worldview.
French Left-Wing MPs Introduce Amendment To "Reduce" Coverage Of Migrant Crime Stories
If a protected, privileged group is committing too many crimes just stop reporting it! Joe Biden did that with illegal aliens, and the media was right on board. Remember when they called that gangbanger/humantrafficker Killmore, er, Kilmar Abrego Garcia a "Baltimore man" and a good family man? Turns out he beat his wife up on more than one occasion, was stopped for human trafficking (but the police, under orders, let him go), and had tattoos that comport with MS-13. Bu we can't talk about all that!
Now the French intend to hide immigrant criminality but suppressing stories about the outrages they are committing.
Obviously they've done this before anyway, but they are now doubling down. Europeans are suicidal. There will be no Europe by the turn of the next century.
They are lying to themselves and in the end a lie is a damaging thing.

Pride goeth before a fall, the Bible tells us. It also goeth before a lot of violence as the radical homosexuals grow increasingly full of rage because they no longer swing the big lumber they once did in politics (sorry for the doubel entendre').
Violence, fireworks spark outside St. Louis Pride
The homosexual community has had it all it's own way since the "gay '90's" and are very angry they are not being the beneficiaries of the obsequious slobbering of the media and the government. Now they have what they claimed to always want; they are just like everyone else, and it enrages them. They believed they should be a privilged class.
So a "pride event" over Independence Day turned ugly as the crowd grew unruly and there were fights and fireworks shot into the crowd.
Police blamed the organizers of this "fest" and they are probably right; they did not request any security and they no doubt tried to fire up the crowd.
In the end homosexuality leads to anger and depression (which is anger turned inward) because ultimately the homosexual knows in his or her (or xi or ze or whatever pronoun they prefer) heart that what they are doing is wrong. It's not SOCIETY that makes them unhappy; it's Natural Law. They realize they are violating a fundamental, core principle of our existence. As Christians would say "God's Law", but even an atheist has to aedmit it violates Natural Law, the order imposed by the universe. You have to be a moral relativist, to say there is no right or wrong, to be gay. And with no right or wrong there is nothing but bad things that happen with no meaning, and that would make anyone angry.
I sympathize with gay people; they feel it is right even though it's not and they either will not admit they know it's a bad thing or they are quite naive, but they have urges and desires that will do nothing good for them. In the end it's a lifestyle that brings physical decay (via diseases and drug and alcohol abuse) and is destructive of the spirit. Depression is very common among the LGBTQ crowd, and suicide is one of the biggest killers. They blame it on lack of acceptance, and no doubt that is part, but I would argue ultimately it's because in their heart of hearts they know they are violating a very basic principle. It's like driving the wrong way down a one way street.
As the Bible says "there is a way that seems right to a man that leads to death".(Proverbs 14:12) The gay community feels this is right, and they hold "pride celebrations" to mainstream their lifestyles and to celebrate their problem, but in the end it simply reinforces the thing that is killing them emotionally and physically. And Pride does indeed goeth before a fall.
I think this trouble in The Grove illustraes this perfectly. By the way, the Grove is always having these sorts of problems, and it's usually coming from the gay community itself.
You can't drive the wrong way down a one-way street forever.
